Abortion

Sorry to break up the topic of college, but I just recently read on the news that people are protesting a free clinic in Aurora (being built). Someone was quoting in saying, "Why would you intentionally kill a child?...." Here's my opinion on this. Everyday our population is expanding, in some countries past the point of a good standard of living. I'm not saying procreating is bad, at all, but if the mother can't support herself let alone her child what is the point? She'd just be ruining her life as well as her child's. Yea sure there's adoption, but what's the chance that the said child won't be abused in foster care, go down a delinquent path because he/she hasn't been adopted, nor never will be. Everyday children are sexually, physically and mentally abused in foster care. If there's a chance to stop such absurdity by stopping the pregnancy from furthering past the point of 15 weeks why would you wouldn't you? Imagine if your sister, mother, girlfriend, or even daughter has been raped. 15% of rape cases end in pregnancy because the asshole was too stupid to even bother with protection. Would you want to bring that child into the world when it was conceived in such a hateful way? When women have their periods they're killing potential eggs to be fertilized. Isn't that potentially the same thing as abortion? I don't know, what's your' guys' opinion on this topic?
