college

I have been looking through scholarships for college and have noticed that unless i am a minority or have a high GPA there really isn't a scholarship for me. I don't fit into the high grades category and i am a white middle class female so there aren't many scholarships available to me. I find it hard to look for colleges because i am so concerned with what it will cost. If i go to a 4 year college than i will graduate with loans that will need to be payed off. i don't want to spend most of my 20's and 30's paying off these loans when i should be out there raising money for a house or for my future. i know there are scholarships out there for weird things like being tall or left handed but they aren't accessible to everyone. where do we find these scholarships? and if they are out there then why do so many people go to school with loans and not have the access to them? this subject has given me a lot of thought and i spend my time thinking of how i am going to go to college. I have to pay for my tuition. my parents aren't. so this matter is important to me and how i want to go through college. i don't want to spend my time paying off loans when i should be experiencing college and my life.
