I want to comment on a couple posts... First, I don't think anyone is saying anything bad about the soldiers fighting. As a matter of fact, the people I know doing the most to support our troops (sending letters, supplies, and leading homefront efforts) are the same people demonstrating against the war. I am one of those people. Second, to answer some of what Kim was wondering about... We are in Iraq right now doing exactly what Sabrina discussed. Protecting a fledging democracy. We invaded, destroyed the infrastructure, and diposed the ruling government. Now we are working to repair those things, because one thing we have learned from history is if you go in an tear it up you need to be willing to put it back together... the difference between the results of WWI and WWII...
