emutsoc (costume backwards)

So costumes...i like them, teachers like them, everyone likes them! i just want to know who banned them because i dont think they realized how big this would get, it's creating more of a problem than its worth. it's more of a distracttion leading up to halloween than halloween itself, because in all of our classes, even spanish class, we wasted class time arguing about the new rule. We're kids, it's fun, i dont see the problem. We've been dressing up for so long, why stop now? I know there were inappropriate costumes, but honestly who cares? are we going to fuss about everything. In bussiness law, we were talking about how certain rules and certain laws create more problems. Yes, there has to be some limitations and boundaries, but to just reject something altogether is completely insane. administration will have their hands full on halloween when everyone dresses up. I doubt any of the teachers really feel like punishing kids for having fun. The rule is useless if no one believes in it and is unrealistic. There are already so many things we cant do, for ONE day, does it really matter? i dont think so!
