gay marriage

OK there has been a lot of discussion on this and a lot of things have been brought up. i like how nick said that he is freaked out a little by gay marriage but still accepts it. I think a lot of people bash things that they don't understand and it's great to see that he is understanding of it. I personally have known a gay couple ever since i was about 4. so to me gays aren't so strange to me. This couple is like family to me and i don't see them differently just because they are gay. They have been together for as long as I've known them. they recently went to Hawaii and had a ceremony so i believe they are married. they are a couple just like straight marriage so they should be able to share their lives together just like everyone else. This topic reminds me of the movie "i now pronounce you Chuck and Larry." if you have not seen this movie it is about 2 firefighters who pretend to be gay and get married so the one can have insurance or something, but during the movie the one guy is against gays but then once he spends time with them he starts sticking up for them and realizes their side. i understand that some people may not agree with gay marriage but can't they just let them be happy. you don't have to like just don't try to 'convert' them into being straight. Religion is a main issue with gay marriage. i can see where Soobin is coming from because that is how she is raised and I'm not going to say that i agree with what she is saying but i will let her have her beliefs and agree to understand her side.
