My Issue

Dawid, I was born in Italy and I originate from Saudi Arabia. I understand where you're coming from; but I don't think that Americans are against immigrants. Unlike the 1900's where all American's hate the Irish immigrants, Americans now dislike the idea of illegal immigrants. What most Americans feel is this: those who enter the United States illegally are taking our jobs, health-care, land, textiles etc. things that 'Americans' have worked for.

Here's my opinion. We are ALL immigrants, I don't care if it happened ten generations or ten days ago, we all are. Who are we as people to judge others for wanting a better standard of living? For wanting a better life? I for one think that it's that stupidest thing that if someone from Cuba makes it to the US shore, they are allowed to stay here. But if someone crosses over from Mexico, creates a good life for his/her family, and is holding a legitimate job, that if he is caught by immigration officers he's immediately deported. THAT'S what I find most aggrieving. Don't waste money on building a damn 'fence' that only spans HALF the way to keep supposed Aliens out. Why don't we use that money to BETTER the standard of living IN Mexico, or IN Cuba. I think that's my issue:

Why are we wasting our money on frivolities, such as war, improving the Ipod, advancing the 'Brazilian butt lift', when we could be spending it in/on Third World countries that could use the money for, oh I dunno...food? Survival? We are the United States, the forerunner of advancement, we claim to want to help, so why aren't we? (I know this is a tiresome topic, but it really pisses me off...sorry for my language Spoor)
