Response to Jim

I know how you feel because I want to play softball in college, but in a way I don't. It's going to be so hard not playing it anymore since I have for so long, but I kind of just want to have a normal college life. I think it's really up to you and what you want to do. I've heard stories about friends becoming enemies after rooming together too, but I think it's mostly girls. Usually guys get along pretty well and it's not like you have to be with him 24/7. You can still go out with other people and have him as your roommate. I think if you did room with him, you'd be fine because guys are a lot different than girls. And it's kind of up to you if you're willing to make sacrifices for basketball. You may not get to have much of a social life, but I heard that playing sports in college is an amazing experience. So it depends what you're willing to sacrifice. Just my opinion.
