church

I haven't gone to church since maybe halloweenish? Mostly its because I am usually busy workin, doin homework, or out of town but sometimes its because I just dont want to go. I think that a person can hae really strong faith without attending church in years. I think that one's faith is based on who they are as a person and how tey treat other people rather than if they go and sit/stand for an hour and a half. Now I'm catholic so I understand the concept of recieving communion and why people go and everything. I think when I can go and wind up not going is because I never actually pray when I'm there. There is always bad music and this guy named Colin going nuts on the mic. He is probably the most flamboyant people I've ever seen and his voice is terrible. He is always trying to get everyone to sing and goes, "Holy Family i can't hear you." Secretly I think everyone wishes he would be quiet. If I am going to church i am going for self enlightenment or to recieve communion not to dance arund and sing. I guess that is why i dont go to church as much as i used to. I've realized that there is a lot more to being a good christian then attending church every sunday.
