I, like most other people, am really disturbed by the NIU shootings. I thought about what mr. spoor said though, and it really got me thinking. The news covers the shootings of a man as a regular thing, as they think it is very typical. The media would portray a woman shooting attack completely different, as society would think it would be too dramatic. My friends have had a kid from a class that witnessed the shooting first hand in one of their classes and they said it was very sad. The emotional state of mind of the students was very tramatizing, as he stated and the support of others was evident from the start. In conclusion, the NIU shooting has gotten to the hearts of people all around the world.
