LiBeRaL vs CoNsErVaTiVe

(so i am trying to avoid memorizing twenty lines of Hamlet for tomorrow's english class,...hence the different colors, etc.)

So like many of our classmates, I find myself on both sides of the political spectrum for different discussions. Overall, I am a liberal. I actually don't know what my mom usually is; I do know that in this year's election, my mom looovesss Obama. But yes, when it came to most of those questions, I was on the liberal side. There are still issues that I have a more conservative view of; however, I do not think there are enough of my opinions on "that side" to consider myself conservative. I did think today's activity was very interesting, though. Some of those questions took me a while to answer, because I considered and understood both sides and had a hard time forming a solid opinion on a few. It was also neat to see how the rest of the class answered the questions and to hear from both sides of the opinion. I've never really thought about politics before this class and this year. I've always considered myself a liberal, though I never really knew what that meant nor did I follow politics and know in office who believed what. I'm glad we're learning about this and discussing all the different opinions and options, because these things/decisions really do affect us for the rest of our lives.
