I agree as well. For that last question on the video worksheet we did, I wrote that I think it's out of both fear and faith too. Kim Jong Il made it impossible for the people of North Korea to know any other way of life, so they only know him and his rules and regulations and beliefs. Most of them only know his way of life, and that's what they teach their children, so then all THEY know is the same thing. Those that may have knowledge of outside lifestyles and beliefs don't implement them because they know the consequences and don't want to die or get their families in trouble for going against what crazy Kim Jong Il wants. It's insane how much power one man can have over a multitude of people. It seems so simple to just get the entire country to revolt or something because an entire country of people could easily wipe out one guy, but it isn't, and it sucks that the North Koreans have to live the way they do. Obviously they don't really know anything else so they can't compare how they live to how other people do, so they clearly don't think it's as horrible as it is, but everyone else knows, and it's terrible that we can't or just don't do anything about it. I feel bad for them... I mean... no Internet and no cell phones?! Think about that... we rely so much on that stuff nowadays and they don't even exist to the North Koreans. Craaazy!!!
