In gym we talked about writing people off. Judging people before you get to know who they are. The example our gym teacher used was he met this person and they were talking and the person says, so what do you do? and he says "im a teacher" the person says "what kind of teacher?" and he said "a gym teacher." the response he got from this person was, "Oh..." so this was an example of him getting written off just because someone judged him by his career. I'm used to the people at our school now, the seniors at least. I feel like i know them too well after having 4 years of classes with the same people. I do judge people, im not going to say i dont, but in school lately, i just feel like...i dont really know..i honestly accept everyone. Everyone comes from a different place and we dont know their personal life or home situations, so we cant judge the way they dress or look or act, because everyone is different. People may be judging you, because everyone has stereotypes, and we all know thats not a good feeling, so why make someone else feel bad about themselves by your personal opinions about them?? Life is so much better when you're happy :) There are always going to be the jocks and cheerleaders and nerds and the social outcasts, but why not extend yourself and go talk to someone that you havent really gotten to know, or get to know someone that you never really gave a chance to before. I honestly feel like the people who dont accept others cant accept themselves. For some reason, those who judge dont like themselves, and therefore point out others' flaws and judge them for that to make themselves feel better.
